The TRANSFORMATION Project Case Study

The Transformation Project is an interesting initiative looking to take management theory and converting this to a suite of practical management tools. The ultimate aim is to improve business performance. The Project instigators required to present the Project to partners using a website. They also needed to easily manage Project information as well as have a way for partners to communicate and share knowledge. Showtime Studios provided The Transformation Project with an expressive, professional website, easy-to-use content management system and a forum and file sharing space.

CHALLENGES

The Transformation Project needed to showcase the project in a professional manner. This meant a design which encapsulated the transformative nature of the project in a captivating and striking way. Beyond imagery, the challenge was also to structure the information appropriately. The Transformation Project asked Showtime Studios to support in providing a dedicated website design for the Project which would complement their already existing logo.

The website also required an intuitive, yet simple content management system. As busy academics, the emphasis was on being able to quickly make content changes.

Finally, the ability for partners to share information was an additional key challenge.

SERVICES DELIVERED

A clean homepage was designed with captivating large imagery and a minimalistic navigation. The existing Transformation logo with its slanted look was incorporated into the rest of the website design in order to visually harmonise the look of the site.

The content management system (CMS) allowed the website owners to instinctively create, edit and position new images, text and video on the website. The CMS provided the Project instigators flexibility in managing the structure of the website by being able to change the navigation and individual pages of the website. Direct access to website statistics, such as traffic, was also possible.

A forum and collaborative space allowing for information to be shared was developed and uniquely designed to fit with the rest of the website.

The Transformation Project instigators and partners can now communicate information about the Project through a professional website. Showtime Studios has contributed to the communication efforts of The Transformation Project by positioning them as an impactful and relevant business transformation Project.
